Junior Travel Ambassador (JTA)JTAs are pupils from each year group who are responsible for promoting active travel (such as walking, cycling and road safety) within our school community. They promote independent travel to their peers as they prepare pupils for the transition from primary to secondary school. This could entail carrying out assemblies, conducting surveys, classroom talks, helping with completing the school travel plan, learning how to use a Journey Planner and running competitions on a regular basis throughout their term in office. The term in office is from September to July, following an academic year. |
