Eco-Schools empowers pupils, raises environmental awareness, improves the school environment and also creates financial savings for schools. It engages the wider local community, links to the curriculum and can help deliver Ofsted requirements.

IQM Flagship School

Junior Travel Ambassador (JTA)

JTAs are pupils from each year group who are responsible for promoting active travel (such as walking, cycling and road safety) within our school community. They promote independent travel to their peers as they prepare pupils for the transition from primary to secondary school.

This could entail carrying out assemblies, conducting surveys, classroom talks, helping with completing the school travel plan, learning how to use a Journey Planner and running competitions on a regular basis throughout their term in office. The term in office is from September to July, following an academic year.

Leading Parent Partnership Award, 2023-2026

A reqard that recognises our commitment to work in partnership with all parents and carers. Increasing parental participation in school life leads to improved pupil progress, punctuality, attendance and behaviour.

The Carnegie Centre of Excellence for Mental Health in Schools is focused on evidence-based solutions which address schools', pupils and parents/carers needs; the development of a professional community of school mental health experts; and leading innovation within the area.

For those building on their commitment to high-quality essential skills education

• Made good progress towards embedding the Skills Builder Principles
• Majority of teachers will be using a common language for essential skills
• Policies and procedures will have begun to reflect the approach

STARS – Sustainable Travel: Active, Responsible, Safe

STARS is TfL's accreditation scheme for London schools and nurseries. STARS inspires young Londoners to travel to school sustainably, actively, responsibly and safely by championing walking, scooting and cycling.
STARS supports pupils' wellbeing, helps to reduce congestion at the school gates and improve road safety and air quality.

Unicef

Unicef works with schools in the UK to create safe and inspiring places to learn, where children are respected, their talents are nurtured and they are able to thrive. Our Rights Respecting Schools Award embeds these values in daily school life and gives children the best chance to lead happy, healthy lives and to be responsible, active citizens.

Quality Mark Award for Early Years

This Quality Mark is awarded in recognition of school's improving provision, practice and performance in children’s learning of communication, literacy and mathematics.
